A New Service from CReSS LLC: On-(your)-site instruction in speech acoustics
Students in speech and hearing or linguistics should know some basic physics, particularly acoustics. At the very least, people should be aware of physical principals at an elementary, non-mathematical level.
We are offering this service, because we know that a physicist does not usually fit into academic departments that work in speech production.
It’s up to you whether the instruction is given in almost all pictorial presentation style or in a highly mathematical style
Courses, whatever the presentation style, will be based on the lecture series in progress, entitled “Lectures in Acoustics for the Speech Sciences”, which can be found on the page named “Lecture Series”. (That presentation can be considered relatively mathematical.)
We offer reasonable hourly or daily rates, and moderate per diem and travel charges.
